What is Suwen?

What "Suwen" means
The two characters 素問 (Suwen) mean "an inquiry into the source of life and the order of nature." 素 points to the essence, the root of things; 問 is questioning without presuming the answer. Together, they describe a posture: approaching the patterns of life and the cosmos with humility and a genuine wish to understand.
Where the name comes from
The name comes from a classic of Chinese medicine, the Huangdi Neijing · Suwen (The Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon · Plain Questions). It is written as a dialogue: the Yellow Emperor asks, and the physician Qibo answers, exploring back and forth the workings of life, nature, and the human body. We borrow the name because its spirit matches ours: divination is not a tool for predicting fortune or frightening people, but a way of questioning that helps you understand yourself and the patterns you live within.
The kind of divination we believe in
So here, you won't find mystical scare tactics, sales pitches for "changing your fate," or promises of guaranteed wealth. What we do is ask, alongside you: what does your energy structure look like, what are you naturally good and not good at, where does the focus of this stage of your life lie. The answer is not a verdict handed down by fate, but a reference that lets you see more clearly and walk more steadily.
